Chandigarh, November 6 (Press Ki Taquat Bureau) :To educate the farmers about the various activities and initiatives in Agriculture sector undertaken by the State Government especially through use of social media, Punjab Agro and Punjab Agri Export Corporation Limited (PAGREXCO) has launched its own YouTube Channel under the name of “Five Rivers”.
The first episode of weekly show would also be telecast on Doordarshan Jalandhar on November 7, 2020 at 5.30 PM.
Disclosing this here today, Managing Director, Punjab Agro Manjit Singh Brar informed that first episode is dedicated to the sowing of wheat and role of Punseed in wheat seed distribution where in experts from Punjab Agriculture University (PAU) Dr. Hari Ram, along with Jagtar Singh Malhi, General Manager (Punseed) will address the farmers. Eminent TV & film artist and Ex-AMD Markfed, Sh. Bal Mukand Sharma is directing and hosting this show, said the MD.
He further informed that the short videos of all the activities being covered by Punjab Agro, PAGREXCO, Punjab Agro Juices Limited (PAJL) & Punseed including food processing activities of the state government would also be made available for the benefit of farmers, consumers and entrepreneurs through this show.
Pointing out further, the MD said that the Weekly Show would air on Doordarshan Jalandhar every Saturday at 5.30 PM.
