ਵਾਸ਼ਿੰਗਟਨ, 04 ਫਰਵਰੀ (ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਬਿਊਰੋ):- ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਟੈਕਸਾਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ‘ਚ ਹੋਈ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ‘ਚ ਦੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਜਦੋਂਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਸਥਾਨਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਹਿਊਸਟਨ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਭਗ 480 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੂਰ ਟੈਕਸਾਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਵਿਭਾਗ ‘ਚ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰੀ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ‘ਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਵਿਭਾਗ ‘ਚ ਲਗਭਗ 12,000 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ।
