दलित भाईचारो के बंद के कारण जहां रेल और बस सेवा बुरी तरह प्रभावित हुई वहीं दिल्ली से लाहौर जाने वाली बस सदा-ऐ-सरहद पर भी इसका प्रभाव पड़ा और बस को सरहिंद में एक रेस्ट्रोरेंट पर 5 घंटे रोक कर रखा गया। बस में 16 पाकिस्तानी यात्री सवार थे। तकरीबन 5 घंटे के बाद बस को सख़्त सुरक्षा प्रबंधों के चलते रूट में बदलाव कर रवाना किया गया।
