Chandigarh, March 22 (Press Ki Taquat)- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal said that 15 and a half crore rupees have been given to farmers for 23 thousand acres in lieu of not sowing crops due to waterlogging. The Chief Minister was speaking during the discussion on the attention-grabbing proposal regarding crop damage compensation in the budget session of the Legislative Assembly today. Mr. Manohar Lal said that the compensation amount was sent to the district treasury office on the complaint of the member about receiving the compensation amount to the farmers. If any farmer has not received this amount, members should inform the House. If the authorities have not distributed this amount to the farmers, it will be investigated and strict action will be taken. The government will not allow injustice to the farmers.
