Panipat, 20-04-2023 (Press Ki Taquat) – A high-speed pickup driver hit a 6th standard student in Samalkha town. After which the student fell and the wheel of the pickup passed over his face. After the accident, the accused driver escaped from the spot. Complainant Rajesh Kumar said that he is a resident of village Raksera. He does agriculture. He is a father of three children. The eldest son, 11-year-old Uday, is a 6th standard student. He was walking with his son Uday from village Raksera to village Sibalgarh on the road to his site.
Rajesh Kumar said that as soon as the collision occurred, Uday fell on the road and the wheel of the pickup passed over his face. Due to which he was seriously injured. His son rushed to the hospital in chaos, where the doctors declared him dead. Rajesh alleged that his son died in the accident due to the negligence of the pickup driver. On the father’s statement, the police have registered a case against the pickup driver and started searching.
