देश में बढ़ती दुष्कर्म की घटनाओं पर बोलते हुए असम के तेजपुर से भाजपा सासंद आरपी शर्मा ने कहा है कि आरोपियों को सरेआम गोली मार देनी चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि केवल इसी तरीके से ऐसी घटनाएं रुक सकती हैं। जो लोग महिलाओं की इज्जत नहीं करते हैं। उनसे इसी तरह से निपटा जाना चाहिए। इससे पहले शर्मा उस समय चर्चा में आए थे, जब उन्होंने तंबाकू के सेवन से कैंसर होने का वैज्ञानिक सबूत मांगा था।
