Police teams from all the districts in coordination with Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab have been conducting special operations across the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On Day 279, Police teams arrested 231 individuals held with two weapons, taking the total arrests to 80,898 since the launch of the campaign.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Apart from this, preventive action has been taken against 184 persons. Police teams have also arrested seven Proclaimed Offenders (POs) during the operation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">People can anonymously report information related to wanted criminals and gangsters, and also share tips on crime and criminal activity, through the Anti Gangster Helpline number 93946-93946.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, Police teams have continued its drive against drugs \u201cYudh Nashian Virudh\u201d for 604th day with 296 drug smugglers arrested today and recovered 3.5 kg heroin, 500 grams opium, 120 kg ganja, 44 kg poppy husk, 1722 intoxicant pills and Rs 13,850 drug money from their possession. With this, the number of total drug smugglers arrested has reached to 88,285 in just 603 days.
