Harking back to the aborted Ferozepur visit of the PM on the eve of the Punjab elections in 2022, Jakhar on Friday said the disruptions caused in the Lok Sabha by Congress MPs were not routine and they had a design.”Concerns about the conduct of some Congress MPs in the Lok Sabha cannot be dismissed as routine disruption, especially in light of their own record. Some of the very individuals who, in 2022, presided over and enabled circumstances that endangered the Prime Minister\u2019s security in Punjab are today members of the Lok Sabha \u2014 and also sit at the high table of the Congress, influencing party policy and strategy,” Jahkar said in a serious charge, though he did not name which Congress MPs he was referring to.
