the Punjab Government declared paid holiday on 5th October, 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of Punjab Government said that in case any officer\/employee is a voter in the voter list of Haryana Legislative Assembly and is working in the Government Offices\/Boards\/Corporations and Government Educational Institutions of the Punjab State, then he\/she would be eligible for availing special holiday on 5th October, 2024 from the competent authority by presenting their voter identity card.\u00a0 This holiday won&#8217;t be deducted from the leave account of the officer\/employee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Apart from this, he said that Department of Personnel has issued notification in this regard.\u00a0 According to this notification, the Government of Punjab has declared paid holiday on 5th October, 2024 for voters who are included in the voter list of Haryana Legislative Assembly and working in any business, trade, industrial undertaking, or any other establishment in the state of Punjab as per the provision of the Section 135B(1) of the Representation of People Act,
