Dubai, June 29 (Ozi news desk):\u00a0 <\/strong>An official announcement on Saturday confirmed that Iran will be holding a runoff presidential election to replace the late hard-line President Ebrahim Raisi, as the initial vote did not see any of the top candidates securing an outright win.<\/p>\n

The upcoming election, scheduled for this Friday, will feature reformist candidate Masoud Pezeshkian facing off against the hard-line former nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili.<\/p>\n
