\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In order to honour the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and martyred soldiers of the state and to make the future generations aware about these personalities, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab government has decided to name 31 government schools of the state after the freedom fighters and martyred soldiers.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Divulging further, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that the state government had decided to rename the state government schools, hence 31 more government schools have been renamed in third phase during the current year.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Bains said that the complying with the orders of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government schools are being renamed after the freedom fighters and martyred soldiers so that our future generations can also be aware of the sacrifices of these personalities.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Education Minister said that among the government schools which have been renamed, the Government High School of Khatkar Kalan, district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar has been renamed as Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Government High School.<\/p>\n
