The Department of Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities had previously invited applications for the recruitment of Chairman of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission until October 03 . Now, the application deadline has been extended until October 31.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Divulging in this regard,\u00a0\u00a0Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that the Punjab Government needs to appoint the Chairman of the State Scheduled Castes Commission to ensure the effective implementation of welfare schemes for the Scheduled Castes allowing those in need to benefit.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Cabinet Minister said that the applicant should be a retired officer of the Punjab State Government belonging to a Scheduled Caste should not below the rank of Principal Secretary. Applicant age should not be more than 65 years can apply for this post.<\/p>\n
