There<\/strong>\u00a0is<\/strong>\u00a0hope<\/strong>\u00a0that<\/strong>\u00a0the<\/strong>\u00a0archaeological<\/strong>\u00a0heritage<\/strong>\u00a0of<\/strong>\u00a0the<\/strong>\u00a0famous<\/strong>\u00a0historical<\/strong>\u00a0city<\/strong>\u00a0of<\/strong>Agroha<\/strong>\u00a0will soon be revealed<\/p>\n

Chandigarh , October 8 (Press Ki Taquat)-<\/strong> Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal said that a prestigious museum will be established at the historic archaeological site of Agroha Dham in Haryana . Also, on the lines of Rakhigarh, soon the government is going to develop the historical place Agroha .<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal\u00a0gave this information while addressing a press conference after offering prayers at the Mata Mansa Devi temple premises on the\u00a0occasion of the first Narata in Panchkula today\u00a0.\u00a0On\u00a0this occasion\u00a0, the Chief Minister wished the residents of the state a happy future\u00a0.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Congratulating Maharaja Agarsen Jayanti, Mr. Manohar Lal said that the archaeological site of Agroha is considered as the capital of Maharaja Agarsen\u00a0.\u00a0With the development of this place, not only this center of faith will make its identity in the world, but this place will also be popular for tourism\u00a0.\u00a0The central government has decided to develop the Agroha archaeological site and the surrounding area as per the Rakhigarh model through an MoU.\u00a0\u00a0Permission to do so is provided\u00a0.\u00a0We are committed to invest in the development of the Agroha Archaeological Site Museum under our broad objectives of preserving and promoting the rich heritage of the state\u00a0.<\/p>\n

The state<\/strong>government<\/strong>\u00a0will conduct<\/strong>\u00a0GPR<\/strong>\u00a0(Ground<\/strong>\u00a0Penetrating<\/strong>\u00a0Radar)<\/strong>\u00a0survey<\/strong>\u00a0in<\/strong>\u00a0potential<\/strong>\u00a0areas<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He said that the excavation of the Agroha archaeological site will be done jointly by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and the Haryana State Archaeological Department\u00a0.\u00a0Before starting the excavation, the state government will conduct a GPR survey in the likely areas\u00a0.\u00a0After that, there will be a joint MoU between ASI and the Haryana government\u00a0.<\/p>\n

The<\/strong>Chief<\/strong>\u00a0Minister<\/strong>\u00a0appealed<\/strong>\u00a0to<\/strong>\u00a0the<\/strong>\u00a0Center<\/strong>\u00a0to<\/strong>\u00a0highlight<\/strong>\u00a0the<\/strong>\u00a0archaeological<\/strong>\u00a0heritage<\/strong>\u00a0of<\/strong>\u00a0Agroha<\/strong>\u00a0_<\/strong><\/p>\n

Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal had written a letter to the Union Culture Minister Mr. G. Kishan Reddy in the month of August regarding mining in Agroha, a central survey site in Hisar district\u00a0.\u00a0The Chief Minister wished that the Haryana government\u00a0wants to highlight the archaeological heritage in the\u00a0famous historic city of Agroha,\u00a0Tehsil Adampur\u00a0, District Hisar so that the historical and cultural areas of the state can add an important chapter\u00a0.\u00a0They have turned this place into a magnificent heritage site in Haryana and an archeological site museum\u00a0\u00a0It has also appealed to start a project for the establishment\u00a0of\u00a0Agroha during excavation\u00a0\u00a0The discovery of coins of the Republic and the appearance of its old name Agardoka in ancient literature including the Mahabharata are ample proofs of its being the headquarters of the Republic\u00a0.\u00a0Agroha city Takshashila and Mathura\u00a0\u00a0It was located on\u00a0the old trade routes\u00a0and therefore remained an important center of events and political activities\u00a0.\u00a0Previous excavations have proven the potential of the site and have revealed five distinct cultural periods ranging from about the fourth century to the twenty-first century\u00a0.<\/p>\n

More<\/strong>\u00a0than<\/strong>\u00a0100<\/strong>\u00a0archaeological<\/strong>\u00a0sites<\/strong>\u00a0have<\/strong>\u00a0been<\/strong>\u00a0identified<\/strong>\u00a0_<\/strong>\u00a0_<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He said that more than 100 archaeological sites have been identified in Haryana\u00a0.\u00a0These are being jointly developed by the central state government\u00a0.\u00a0He said that in order to protect the heritage of Rakhigarh, the central government has taken approx\u00a0\u00a023\u00a0crore rupees are being provided similarly financial potion will also be provided for Agroha\u00a0.\u00a0Apart from this\u00a0,\u00a0the state government will also make a large number of budgets available\u00a0.<\/p>\n
