Opposition bloc INDIA on Friday resolved to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections together \u201cas far as possible\u201d and said the seat-sharing arrangements will be concluded at the earliest in a spirit of \u201cgive and take\u201d.<\/p>\n

The alliance adopted a resolution to this effect and said its theme for the elections will be \u201cJudega Bharat, Jeetega India, (India will unite, India will win)\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe, the INDIA parties, hereby resolve to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections together as far as possible. Seat-sharing arrangements in different states will be initiated immediately and concluded at the earliest in a collaborative spirit of give-and-take,\u201d the resolution said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe, the INDIA parties, hereby resolve to organize public rallies at the earliest in different parts of the country on issues of public concern and importance,\u201d it said further.<\/p>\n

The resolution also said the INDIA parties will coordinate their respective communications and media strategies, and campaigns with the theme \u201cJudega Bharat, Jiteega India\u201d in different languages.<\/p>\n

Opposition alliance finalises coordination committee<\/p>\n

The leaders of several Opposition parties were in huddle in Mumbai to finalise their plans. They have finalised a 13-member committee comprising members of various parties that will function as the bloc\u2019s highest decision making body and will start work on seat-sharing immediately, sources said.<\/p>\n

Congress\u2019 K C Venugopal, NCP leader Sharad Pawar, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, RJD\u2019s Tejashwi Yadav, TMC\u2019s Abhishek Banerjee and Shiv Sena\u2019s Sanjay Raut are part of the opposition panel.<\/p>\n

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, AAP\u2019s Raghav Chadha, Samajwadi Party\u2019s Javed Ali Khan, JDU\u2019s Lallan Singh, CPI leader D Raja, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah and PDP\u2019s Mehbooba Mufti are also part of coordination panel, the sources said.<\/p>\n

The panel will act as the highest decision-making body of the bloc and start work on seat sharing, they added.<\/p>\n
