Malerkotla March 17 (Baljit Hussainpura, Imran) (Press Ki Taquat):<\/strong>\u00a0 An All India Grand Mushaira organized by Department of Urdu, Persian and Arabic, Punjabi University Patiala at Kala Bhavan, Patiala in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Punjab Waqf Board, North Zone Center and Begum Iqbal Foundation.<\/span><\/span> was conducted<\/span><\/span> It was presided over by Prof. Arvind, Vice Chancellor of the University, while Vijay Kapoor attended as a special guest.<\/span><\/span> On this occasion, Professor Dr. Rahman Akhtar, Head of Urdu Department welcomed the audience and dignitaries and said that Mr. Fayaz Farooqui ADGP Punjab Police (Administrator Punjab Waqf Board) has occupied an important and high place in Urdu poetry.<\/span><\/span> achieved, it will be written in golden letters in Urdu literature.<\/span><\/span> He said that Fayaz Farooqui is a natural poet, whose life and words show respect and compassion towards humanity.<\/span><\/span> You have also proved your knowledge by delivering keynote speeches in various seminars.<\/span><\/span> Department of Urdu is proud to honor him with “Sahir Urdu Award”.<\/span><\/span> Respect for them is really respect for Persian and Urdu.<\/span><\/span> The Mushaira was started by lighting candles with the support of Vice Chancellor Mr. Arvind, ADGP Punjab Police Fayaz Farooqui and other dignitaries and Mr. Arvind congratulated the Urdu Department for organizing a national level Mushaira.<\/span><\/span> There was a good arrangement of sofas and cushions for the poets to sit on the stage.<\/span><\/span> Students of the senior classes of the university, teachers, professors and dignitaries from different cities were present in large numbers to increase the excitement of Mushaira.<\/span><\/span> The stage action was well performed by the famous poet Mr. Moin Shadab from Delhi.<\/span><\/span> His effective literary system captivated the hearts of the audience.<\/span><\/span> On this occasion, the organizers appreciated the literary and cultural activities of Mr. Muhammad Fayaz Farooqui, ADGP of Punjab Police and in view of his valuable services to Urdu literature, he was awarded “Sahir” by the Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University.<\/span><\/span> Awarded with “Ladhyanvi Award”.<\/span><\/span> In Mushaira poet Mohammad Fayaz Farooqui, Moin Shadab, Professor Abbas Raza Nair (Lucknow), Shamsh Tabrizi Panchkula, B.D.<\/span><\/span> Kalia Hamdam, Mukesh Alam, Varun Anand (Ludhiana), Yash Ji Nakodri, Swatwar Dev Arif, Hari Dutt Habib, Anwar Azhar, Dr. Rubina Shabnam, Taj ud Din Taj and Dr. Salim Zubiri engaged the audience with their selections.<\/span><\/span> Very wow-wow sour.<\/span><\/span> The credit of this successful Mushaira goes to the management of the University, especially Dr. Zain Ul Iba, Dr. Rehman Akhtar, Dr. Muhammad Jameel, Dr. Shamsh Ul Hasan and Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, who spent days to make this National Mushaira a success.<\/span><\/span> Toiled at night.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
