Rajinder Singh, a farmer from village Kotbhai of Sri Muktsar district, has turned crorepati overnight as he won the second prize of Rs 1 Crore of Punjab State Dear Diwali Bumper. The results of the bumper were announced on November 8.<\/p>\n

Rajinder Singh has won this prize for lottery ticket number A-875367. The lucky winner today submitted the lottery ticket and other required documents for encashment of the prize money at the State Lotteries Department’s office at Chandigarh.<\/p>\n

Rajinder Singh said he has two daughters and a son. He will use the prize money for his daughters’ wedding, building a house and fulfilling other basic needs.<\/p>\n

Lotteries department officials assured the lucky winner that the prize money would be credited to his bank account soon.<\/p>\n
