Prominent personalities such as President Droupadi Murmu, Union ministers S Jaishankar and Hardeep Singh Puri, Delhi minister Atishi, Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, and outgoing East Delhi MP Gautam Gambhir were among the early voters in the national capital.

Following the voting process, Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, emphasized that citizens are turning out in significant numbers to oppose “dictatorship, price rise, and unemployment.” On the other hand, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, contesting from the Anantnag-Rajouri seat in Jammu and Kashmir, raised concerns over the suspension of outgoing calls on her mobile number.
